Dr Clare Stapleton is a Medicolegal Consultant at the London Office of MedicalProtection. Before joining MPS in 2019, she was a Consultant in Anaesthesia andIntensive Care at Wexham Park Hospital, Frimley Health for 16 years. She wasthe patient safety lead clinician, led the mortality review process and set upthe Medical Examiner service at Frimley Health.

At Medical Protection she assists membersby providing medicolegal advice. She supports and advises health carepractitioners involved in patient safety incident investigations, inquests,disciplinary and regulatory investigations as well as criminal matters relatingto clinical care.
